The drastic international developments in the corporate world, the responsibility to supply 40% of the Greek population with potable water, the natural growth of Athens in combination with the Olympic games of 2004 as well as the obligation towards the shareholders, render it obligatory to EYDAP to move forward, in order to fulfill projects of decisive importance and security.

The vision and basic axes of EYDAP’s mission are:

• To supply high quality drinking water and services to its clients
• To operate the company in such a manner as to achieve the best financial performance of the invested capital, in order to create added value for the shareholders and to provide a positive contribution to the Greek community and economy in general
•  To increase its customer base and to expand its business activities in fields and products that further reinforce the development of the company

EYDAP accomplishes the above goals, concurrently maintain its role as a utility company operating for the social benefit and contributing to the sustainability of water resources and to the protection of the environment in general.

In view of the above, EYDAP has an ambitious program of reorganization, under way, which operates in the framework of a modern enterprise with private sector economy standards, new objectives and openness to new enterprising activities. The individual objectives and the strategies of the company include:

• Completion of the financial-administrative modernization, in order to improve the company’s operation and financial results.
• Increase of the efficiency and the competitiveness of the provided products and services
• Improvement of the offered water supply and sewerage services 
• Improvement of customer service
• Implementation of modern methods in Human Resources Management
• Asset Management
• Further utilization of the technological infrastructure, as well as adaptation and implementation of new technologies and computer information systems
• Expansion of the jurisdiction area and acquisition of distribution networks outside its jurisdiction.
• Cooperation with other foreign water supply and sewerage companies (Contract with Veolia Environment) for the planning and realization of projects in other countries.
• Development of new activities in fields that efficiently utilize the existing infrastructure and know-how of EYDAP.
• Participation in business schemes to promote new sources of income and to increase turnover (ETIDI SA (Telecommunications), Northern Suburbs Company (Natural Gas Distribution)
