DISCOUNTS FOR LARGE FAMILIES
|
|
For families with three (3) or more tax dependent children, the charge is applied under the first tariff scale (€0,35 per m³), provided that the monthly consumption does not exceed 20 m³ for a five-member family, or 16m³ for a four-member family in the case of a single-parent family. For bigger families, the upper limit is increased by 4m³ for each child beyond the third. In case that the above monthly consumption limits are exceeded, the exemption shall not apply. Excess consumption over the monthly limits is charged according to the General Tariff, starting from second tariff scale. Multi-childen family status is proven in accordance with the conditions set by the applicable legislation (submitting the required supporting documents) and is reviewed annualy. The permanent, yet legal residence located within the area of activity of EYDAP S.A., is a prerequisite.
The discount also applies to customers outside the EYDAP S.A. water supply network who are charged (by the company) for sewer usage. |

DISCOUNTS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
|
A 30% discount is granted on water and sewerage bill to elderly persons over 75 years of age who live alone (and are not being hosted), provided that their annual household income is less than or equal to € 8.000,00 and their quarterly water supply and sewerage bill does not exceed € 40,00. Eligibility conditions are reviewed annualy.
The discount also applies to customers outside the EYDAP S.A. water supply network who are charged (by the company) for sewer usage. |

DISCOUNTS FOR VULNERABLE SOCIAL GROUPS - LAW 4389/2016 (SPECIAL SOCIAL TARIFF - SST)
|
|
1. 100% discount is granded on the water consumption value up to 2 m³ per month per household member,starting from the 1st category of the General Tariff.
2. 100% discount is granded on the water consumption value up to 3 m³ per month for each member of the household, who has a disability of more than 67%, evidenced by a valid certificate (Disability Certification Centre-KEPA).
3. Application of the SST to the water supply of the main (owned or rented) residence, in which the beneficiary resides.
4. Application of the SST also to beneficiaries who reside permanently in free provided housing or who are hosted, provided that this is evidenced by a valid copy of the Tax declaration form (E1).
5. Application of the SST also to customers outside the EYDAP S.A. water supply network who are charged by EYDAP S.A. for sewer usage.

This tariff also applies to water carriers who operate water transport vehicles and transport water exclusively within the service area of EYDAP S.A., as well as water carriers supplying water through hydrants, in accordance with the provisions of Water Supply Network Operation Regulation of EYDAP S.A.

By decision of the Board of Directors of EYDAP S.A., charitable institutions, non-profit organizations, may be included in this tariff category, provided they meet the conditions set out in Laws 2039/1939, Government Gazette Sheet 455Α/24-10-1939 in Legislative decree 1111/1972 (Government Gazette sheet 23A/11-2-1972) and in Law 4182/2013 (Government Gazette sheet 185A΄/10-09-2013). The terms and conditons for granting this tariff shall be determined by decision of the Board of Directors of EYDAP S.A. |
