The Company is governed by the Board of Directors consisting of thirteen (13) members, two of whom are Executive - the CEO, Charalambos Sachinis and the Deputy CEO, Anastasios Tosios - while the eleven Members are Non-Executive. Theodora Varvarigou, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Non-Executive Member

Theodora Varvarigou is a professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Since June 2019, she serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP S.A.). She chairs the Strategy and Innovation Committee, she is a member of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee and she is also a member of the Risk Management Committee. Since 2015, she also serves as a member of the Board of Bodossakis Foundation and since 2021 she is a member of the Steering Committee of the Hellenic Institute of Advanced studies.
Professor Varvarigou graduated from the Electrical Engineering department of the NTUA in 1988 and got her MS degrees in Electrical Engineering (1989) and in Computer Science (1991) from Stanford University. She also received her Ph.D. degree from Stanford University in 1991.
Her research is making an impact on cutting-edge technologies, such as data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Cloud computing, big data technologies, IoT technologies, semantic web, social networking technologies etc. She has published more than 500 papers in leading international journals, conferences and books. She has also participated and co-ordinated more than 60 EC projects. Since 2012-2020 she has been a member of the European Commission’s Expert Group on Cloud Computing, an evaluator of the European Commission’s Research Proposals and she recently acquired a “Making Corporate Boards More Effective” program certificate by the Harvard Business School Executive Education. She began her career in the States, being a principal investigator at AT&T Bell Labs during the period 1991-1994. From 2008-2012, she held the Chair of the postgraduate program “Engineering Economic Systems” of NTUA and during the period 2010-2020 she was a member of the Office of Quality Assurance Unit in NTUA (MODIP NTUA).
Harry Sachinis, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member

Mr. Sachinis is the Chief Executive Officer of EYDAP, the largest water and wastewater company in Greece.
He previously held the position of Business Development Officer at Aegean Airlines.
He has been involved in private equity as a Partner at Global Finance, as an Operating Partner at Advent International and independently.
Earlier he was the Chairman and CEO of DEPA Group, where he significantly improved profitability, negotiated and completed major supply contracts worth $20 billion and contributed in the shaping of alternative gas supply routes to Europe.
He has also served as President of the McGraw-Hill Companies’ Business Information Group, which he made into one of the top global business-to-business information companies, specializing in the energy, construction, aviation, aerospace and defense industries.
Prior to this, he was President of Platts, which he built into the world’s largest energy and commodities price and information provider, and at the same time he actively promoted transparency and integrity in the global energy markets.
He was also Group Vice President of Standard & Poor’s, where he grew key strategic businesses in the financial information sector.
He has served as Vice President of ATHEXClear and is now a Member of the Boards of Directors of ENEXClear, of the Atlantic Council and οf the Investment Committee of CNL Capital.
He holds an engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Anastasios Tossios, Deputy CEO, Executive Member
Anastasios Tosios is the Deputy CEO & Executive Member of the Board of Directors at EYDAP SA (Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company).
Until 2002, he held positions in management, consulting, sales, and supervision of electromechanical constructions, in various companies in Thessaloniki and Athens. During the period 2002 - 2016, he worked for EPA Attiki S.A. (Attiki Gas Supply Company), holding successively the positions of Key Account Manager, B2B Sales Manager, Customer Technical Service Director and finally, that of Technical Director. From 2017 till mid-2019, following the successful split of EPA Attiki in 2016 in two companiesfor Supply and Distribution respectively, he undertook the positions of Distribution Operating (Technical and Commercial) Director and then, that of Commercial Director at the newly established EDA Attikis SA (Attiki Natural Gas Distribution Company).
He holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, an MSc in Technical Change and Industrial Strategy from the Alliance Manchester Business School, UK, as well as an Executive Diploma in Business Administration from ALBA Graduate Business School, Greece. He has also completed the Leadership Development Program Advanced (PLDA) at Harvard Business School, USA.
He has extensive experience in utilities and energy market being a member of management teams since 2009. He also serves voluntarily as the Vice Chairman of the BoD of the Hellenic Association for the Cogeneration of Heat and Power (HACHP), and as a member of the BoD and the Executive Committee of the Institute of Energy for SouthEast Europe (IENE).
Aikaterini Κ. Beritsi, Independent Non-Executive Member
She was born in Athens in 1955 and is a graduate of the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has also completed the program Modern Governance in Banking at INSEAD. During her professional career she has worked in major banks such as Emporiki Bank, New PROTON BANK and Piraeus Bank by participating in their top management teams and holding senior positions, such as, Managing Director of Emporiki Asset Management and Managing Director of the Emporiki Venture Capital Group, among others. Since 2004 she has been appointed as non-executive member to numerous Boards of Directors in Greece and abroad, enhancing the operation of the Audit and Risk Committees. In 2017 she became non-executive member of the Board of Directors of Eurobank, as representative of the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund, a position which she still holds.
Alexander Nassuphis, Independent Non-Executive Member

Born in 1969. Graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 1995 and with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Manchester Business School in 1997. From 1998 until 2013 he worked in corporate finance with various international institutions, including as Managing Director at HSBC, where he advised on a number of landmark transactions in the energy and utilities sectors across Europe.
From 2013 until 2015 he acted as senior advisor on energy and finance projects. From 2015 onwards he works for First Sentier Investors, an infrastructure investment manager with over €10bn of assets under management, where he also serves as member of the Investment Committee. He was appointed the Board of Anglian Water Group Ltd in 2015 and also serves as member of its Audit Committee. Furthermore, since 2019 he was appointed Non-Executive member and Chairman of the Board of OLT Offshore LNG Toscana S.p.A., while in 2020 he was appointed as Member of the Supervisory Board of Evos B.V which is headquartered in Amsterdam and also serves as member of its Nomination & Remuneration and Sustainability Committees.
Angelos Amditis, Independent Non-Executive Member

Born in 1968. He graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (1992) and he received his PhD from the same Institution in 1997. He received his Master on “Techno-Economic Systems” (MBA) from NTUA and the University of Piraeus in 2016. Currently he is attending the INSEAD International Directors Programme in Corporate Governance. He has been a Teaching Assistant in NTUA and in the Hellenic Naval Academy. In January 2002 he founded the I-SENSE Research Team with main research interests in the field of intelligent systems with application to the environment (including monitoring and support of water and water networks using sensors, networks and telematics), transportation and supply chain, telecommunications, artificial intelligence and automation. It specializes in crisis and disaster management, in intelligent integrated systems such as sensors, communications and platforms for vehicles, smart cities, environmental and industrial applications, 5G technology and circular economy.
Today he is an independent member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP S.A.). He is also the Chairman of the Staff and the Disciplinary Boards, the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and Vice-Chairman of the Strategy and Innovation Committee of the company's Board of Directors. He is the Deputy Chairman of Athens Urban Transport Organisation. He is one of the founding members and the Vice President of ITS Hellas and EuroXR. He is Research Director (A’) and BoD member in the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) of NTUA and Research and Development Director of ICCS. In the last 20 years, he has participated in numerous research projects being the scientific responsible of more than 150 projects. He is the writer of several peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters and more than 250 conference papers. He represents ICCS in ERTICO-ITS Europe while being the Chairman of the organization since 2018. He is also member of the Water Supply and Sanitation Technology Platform (WssTP). He is the National Representative of Greece in the Cooperative, connected and automated mobility (CCAM) and C-ITS fora. He is a Member of the Horizon Europe Programme Committee (2021-2027), as appointed National Representative for Climate, Energy and Mobility for Member State of Greece. He is a Member of the Innovation Platform of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations S.A. (HCAP).
Michail Stavroulakis, Independent Non-Executive Member

Michail Stavroulakis economist, accountant and tax expert of A class.
Studies at Technological University Heraklion, Crete, School of Business Administration, Department of Accounting (1981) and Business Administration at the University of Piraeus (1986).
Holder of a certificate of professional qualifications in International Accounting Standards from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences - Research Committee.
Job: accountant - tax and financial consultant in various companies.
Experience in international and financial transactions.
From 1992 to 2010 Financial Director of a Company that was active in the field of international foreign trade and shipping.
Very good knowledge of English.
From June 2015 until today member of the Board of Directors of EYDAP SA (Water and Sewerage Company), Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors until June 2019, and since then a member of the Audit Committee of the Board, as well as a member of the Remuneration & Nominations Committee of the Board since September 2019.
Demetrios G. Konstantakopoulos, Non-Executive Member
Mr. Demetrios Konstantakopoulos was born in Athens in 1961. He is a graduate of the University of Athens, School of Economics and holds an M.A. in Finance and Investments from the University of Exeter, Devon UK. He has worked for over 30 years in the Greek banking sector. Since 1994 he has worked in the National Bank of Greece Group (NBG), providing financial advisory services in many major infrastructure projects implemented in Greece, including, among others, Athens International Airport, the Rion - Antirrion Bridge, Attiki Odos and the Greek Motorways Concession Scheme. In addition, he has advised on the provision of financing in long-term concessions and PPP projects, working as Deputy Manager in the Specialised Lending Department (Project Finance) of NBG. From October 2018 he holds the position of Investment and Concessions Manager at the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations SA (HCAP), he is the portfolio manager for EYDAP, EYATh & HRADF and is the project manager for the exploitation of the 23 regional airports in HCAP’s portfolio. He has also been a non-executive member of the BoD of EVIOP TEMPO SA (2001-2018) and since December 2021 is a non-executive member of the Bod of EYATh SA.
Christos Karaplis, Non-Executive Member

Christos Karaplis was born in 1975. He has twenty years of professional experience in the private and public sector, in positions of high responsibility, having worked in the banking sector and served as an advisor in administrative positions of the central government, and specifically in the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education. He has studied at the Geotechnical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in agricultural economics, at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as at the University of Reading (UK), specializing in economics and marketing at postgraduate level. He is proficient in English and French.
Christos Mistriotis, Non-Executive Member

Christos has more than 18 years of experience in Treasury & Finance and Investments. He has held the position as the Chief Financial Officer of one of the top and most historical Media Groups in Greece, also heading the non-shipping investments in for a distinguished oceangoing vessel operator and owner of more than 80 vessels, also including a Nasdaq-listed company; He has served as Group Treasurer of a global leading gaming solutions supplier Group in 52 jurisdictions, as Chief Investment Officer of a leading multinational Group specializing in sectors such as: fixed telephony service providers, IT solutions and services, defense electronics, constructions and real estate. Christos, also has served as a member on numerous board of directors positions, both on non-listed and listed companies of the Athens Exchange. Christos has graduated from Imperial College, London with an MSc in Finance.
Panagiotis Skoularikis, Non-Executive Member

Panagiotis (Panos) Skoularikis is a banking executive with over 20 years in key managerial positions in financial services, having extensive experience in working with Boards, regulators, consultants and external auditors. He is focused on applying sound corporate governance and internal control practices, while contributing to the achievement of strategic goals through the implementation of transformational business initiatives.
He is a long-standing member of the Board of Directors of EYDAP SA, representing the minority shareholders, while he is serving also as member of the Strategy Committee and the Nominations/Remuneration Committee of the company. In the past he has also served as Board Member of ATEbank Mutual Funds.
He holds the position of General Manager at Piraeus Bank, heading Regulatory Affairs & Executive Coordination, with main focus: Relations with Supervisors (ECB, SSM, SRB, BoG) and the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund, Resolution Planning, Corporate Governance & Internal Control System.
He has worked in the past for Citibank NA in London in the areas of securities & cash management, while he has served for years in various senior managerial positions at ATEbank SA in Athens, with main emphasis on strategy, transformation and investor relations.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Athens, post graduate degrees from The London School of Economics (M.Sc. in Economics/Operational Research & M.Phil. in Economics/European Studies), as well as a certification in Corporate Governance & Board Decision-Making from INSEAD (International Directors Programme).
Emmanouel Aggelakis, Non-Executive Member

Manolis Aggelakis was born in Athens in 1964. He holds a degree from the national kapodistrian university of Athens. He speaks English while he has also participated in several educational seminars. He has been an employee of Eydap since 1993. Through all these years he has held lots of job positions. From 2014 he holds the position of deputy director of warehouse and transportation.
Through elections all employees of Eydap voted him to be their representative in the board of directors for the past 13 years since 2009. Furthermore, mister Agelakis has served as president and member of most of the trade unions of Eydap. In 2021 he was elected as a member of the highest trade union of Greece. He is an elected member of the political party of Nea Dimokratia.
Georgios Alexandrakis, Non-Executive Member

Giorgos Alexandrakis was born on 11.6.1976 in Agrinio city, where he completed primary and secondary education. He is a Mechanical Engineer TE, graduate of the Technological Applications School (STA) of the Western Greece University of Applied Sciences. He also holds a BA degree from the Department of Administration of Businesses and Organizations (ABO), School of Social Sciences of the Hellenic Open University and an MBA degree in Digital Business, from University of West Attica.
In the years 2002-2003 he worked in Public Gas Corporation (DEPA) S.A. as an engineer. Since then he works constantly at EYDAP SA as Mechanical Engineer. He is in charge of the Department of E / M Installations of the Sewerage Network Directorate. He has excellent command of English language and is a certified adult trainer by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP). He is a graduate of the Academy of Labor of GSEE. He is also member of the Economic Chamber of Greece as a Class B Accountant - Tax Consultant (Registration Number 0119319). In 2004 he was elected for the first time as a member of the Board of Directors of Union of Sewerage Workers. He has served the Union of Sewerage Workers as President for 10 years. He has also been, for many years, a member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Workers Federation of Water Supply and Sewerage Company (OME EYDAP) and also member of it’s Executive Committee. Since July 2017, he has been a Representative of the Employees of EYDAP in the Board of Directors of EYDAP SA.
Ioannis Moutzouridis, Legal Advisor to the BoD - Director of Legal Services
John Moutzourides was born in Athens in 1975. His origin lies in Nafplio, and his family has a long tradition in the legal and political life of Argolida.
He works as a Lawyer in Athens since 1999 and is qualified to practice before all Courts of all degrees (including the Supreme Court). He is also a Member of the Athens Bar Association.
He graduated from the Hellenic- American Educational Foundation- Athens College in 1992 and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Faculty of Law). He attended the Graduate Labor Law Program of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and in 2000 he obtained his masters diploma (LL.M.) on Labor Law, publishing his diploma thesis “Collective Dismissals”, with supervisor Professor Mr. Leventis.
In the past he served as a Legal Advisor to many greek and foreign companies, in Corporate, Commercial, Labor and Administrative Law, and as a Legal Advisor of Board of Directors of Group of Press and Mass Media Companies. He handled major litigations and arbitrations (under the Code of the Civil Procedure and the International Chamber of Commerce - ICC) and was involved in major public tenders and procurements and handled complex cases.
He has also served as a research associate to the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization, joined the Project Management Team for the growth of the Citizens’ Services Centers and has specialized in the organization and the operation of the Public Administration and participated in legislative committees.
During his career in EYDAP, he has served in various posts in the departments of the courts cases and the labor issues, including Head of the Office of the Code of the Collection of Public Revenues Section of EYDAP. Since 2015, he holds the position of the legal advisor of the Boards of Directors and the Director of Legal Services, having the responsibility of the Courts Cases, Regulatory Compliance, Public Procurement, the Code of the Collection of Public Revenues Section and the labor issues.
He speaks English fluently and has a good level of French language knowledge.
