FAQs

What should be done, so that my Water Bill is issued in my name?
You should declare/update your data and thus identify yourself for the water supply of the premises you own or lease:

• through our Website following the instructions under the link: Update your Data
• through the talon of the Bill you receive for the specific water supply of the specific premises (see the instructions on the Bill’s back page)
• at the Citizen Service Centers (ΚΕΠ) filling completing the appropriate forms
• at EYDAP’s Customer Service Centers

Our Services will then check and validate your data (it may happen that you are asked to submit related documents) and register you as an Identified Customer. The following Water bills will be issued in your name including your tax number.

How can I pay my water bill on the Web?

In two ways:

a) Through our Website

The current Water Bill can be paid off electronically through our Website as follows:

  • our registered Customers can retrieve the current bill under the link: Water Supplies.
  • for Common supplies: managers should enter the Supply Number and the Water Meter Number, exactly as printed on any bill for the specific Supply, under the link: Your Water Bill>Your Current Bill (please notice that the capital letters in the water meter number should be entered in Greek) and thus retrieve the current bill.

On the presentation of the retrieved Bill the virtual key [e-payment] emerges next to the key [Unpaid Bills] under the following conditions:

  • The payment is not overdue
  • The Bill has not yet  been paid off electronically or otherwise
  • A standing order for the Bill’s payment does not exist

You can then choose to proceed to electronic payment through the Internet Banking of the cooperating Banks by clicking on the virtual key [e-payment]. On the payment web page of your Bank you will then find your bill data preset for your convenience and will be informed about eventual fees your Bank charges for this payment.

b) Directly through the Internet Banking of your Bank

As long as you have e-banking credentials for any Bank cooperating with our Website, you can log on directly into the Bank’s website.  On the e-payment web page you can then pay off your water bill by entering the required data (Number of Receipt, Date of Expiration and Amount). The Bank will check the validity of the entered data excluding the validation for “already paid” or “standing order”.

not registered Customers should enter the Supply Number and the Water Meter Number, exactly as printed on any bill for the specific Supply, under the link: Your Water Bill>Your Current Bill (please notice that the capital letters in the water meter number should be entered in Greek) and thus retrieve the current bill.

Which customer is considered to be identified?

An Identified Customer is a User of EYDAP’s water supply services whose personal data (such as name, surname, residential address, tax number, phone number, e-mail address etc.) have been made known to the Company. These data should be linked to every water supply that serves premises owned or leased by the Customer and should be updated any time needed, i.e. sale or purchase of the premises, end of a lease contract, new tenant etc.

Why should one identify him/herself?

EYDAP SA plans and develops state of the art services aiming to better customer satisfaction.  In order to cut down bureaucracy e-services have been developed and are offered on the Web solely to our Identified Customers. Customer identification is important so as to protect customer’s personal data such as water consumption history and to enable e-messaging.

A Water Bill has erroneously been paid off more than once. Why didn’t your system prevent me from doing so, and what can I do now?

Either you pay off the Water Bill electronically or per standing order, payment at ELTA, web banking etc., the payment appears on our Website after 2 working days. During this period of time it is not possible for us to check if your bill has already been paid off or not.

The surplus will automatically be credited to you on the next water bill for the specific supply. If you wish, the surplus can be returned to you in cash at any EYDAP’s Customer Service Center.

How can I identify myself and update my data?

You can update your data and thus identify yourself for the water supply of the premises you own or lease:
• through our Website following the instructions under the link: Update your Data
• through the talon of the Bill you receive for the specific water supply of the  premises (see the instructions on the Bill's back page)
• at the Citizen Service Centers (ΚΕΠ) completing the appropriate forms
• at EYDAP’s Customer Service Centers

Why is my Bank not in the list of the Banks cooperating with EYDAP’s Website?
EYDAP SA has invited most of the Banks to cooperate for the Bill’s electronic payment. The decision to get linked or not as well as the time needed for the implementation, is an exclusive Bank decision.
How can I check if my personal data known to EYDAP SA are complete and up to date?

Being an Identified Customer to EYDAP SA and a Registered User of our e-service "Your Water Supplies" you can check the validity of your data and eventually update them through the Table of your Water Supplies.

It is useful to repeat the check on each Water Supply of premises you own or where you are a tenant.

You can also follow the instructions under the link : Update your Data and identify yourself as owner or tenant of new premises. The specific water supply will be listed in the Table of your Water Supplies after the validation of the submitted to us data.

Are my personal data safe from misuse?
EYDAP SA is obliged by law to protect sensitive personal data stored on its computers and also declares its obligation not to disclose such data to third parties.
How can I update my new communication data in a simple way?

As a registered user of our Website you can use your crendentials to access our “Your Water Bill” service where you can check and update your communication data such as e-mail address, phone and mobile phone number. If any of the above data have changed, you can update them by clicking on the virtual key [Change], which is in the right side of your communication data. You can proceed in the same way every time there is a change, so that our communication is ensured.

Which customer is considered to be the direct user of the water supply?

A Customer who legally uses or lives in the premises and is the consumer of water from the specific water supply is called “Direct User of the specific Water Supply” according to the terms that rule our e-services. Our e-services offered on the Web aim to the Direct User and Identified Customer of a specific water supply, Owner or Tenant of the premises.

In case that the premises are leased and in order to protect personal data of the Direct User (the Tenant in this case), the Owner of the premises is granted limited access to sensitive data of the specific water supply such as water consumption history etc.

On applying for these e-services the Identified Customer and Owner of the premises is asked to declare whether he/she is the Direct User of the specific water supply or whether the premises are leased. Furthermore the Owner is obliged to ask the Tenant to identify him/herself as the new Direct User of the specific water supply.

Thus the Identified Customer (Owner or Tenant), declares by completing  the appropriate Application Form whether he/she is the Direct User of each water supply for which e-services are applied.

What are the E-messaging Services?

The subscription to EYDAP’s E-messaging Services entitles our Identified Customer who is a Direct User of the specific Water Supply (as Owner or Tenant of the premises), to receive an automated message to the declared E-mail address and/or mobile phone number:

• every time a new Bill is issued for the specified Water Supply
•  as an alert, in case that the metering indicates a possibly increased water consumption
Unsubscribing from the Services is at any time possible via the same procedure.

Please notice

An Identified Customer is not legitimated to subscribe to the E-messaging Services for the Water Supply of the leased premises he owns, because in this case the Tenant is the Direct User of the specific Supply.

EYDAP SA carries no liability, in case that the automatically transmitted messages are not promptly, or ever, delivered to the Customer for technical or other reasons.
