EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sachinis is the Chief Executive Officer of EYDAP, the largest water and wastewater company in Greece.

He previously held the position of Business Development Officer at Aegean Airlines.He has been involved in private equity as a Partner at Global Finance, as an Operating Partner at Advent International and independently.Earlier he was the Chairman and CEO of DEPA Group, where he significantly improved profitability, negotiated and completed major supply contracts worth $20 billion and contributed in the shaping of alternative gas supply routes to Europe.He has also served as President of the McGraw-Hill Companies’ Business Information Group, which he made into one of the top global business-to-business information companies, specializing in the energy, construction, aviation, aerospace and defense industries.

Prior to this, he was President of Platts, which he built into the world’s largest energy and commodities price and information provider, and at the same time he actively promoted transparency and integrity in the global energy markets.He was also Group Vice President of Standard & Poor’s, where he grew key strategic businesses in the financial information sector.He has served as Vice President of ATHEXClear and is now a Member of the Boards of Directors of ENEXClear, of the Atlantic Council and οf the Investment Committee of CNL Capital.

He holds an engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

 
Executive Director of Water Supply 

George Karagiannis holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering at Democritus University of Thrace.  He is married and the father of two (2) children.

He joined EYDAP S.A. in 1990.

As a Civil Engineer, he has designed and constructed a significant number of civil engineering projects as a member of the Building Facilities Department at EYDAP S.A. For many years, he was involved in the organization, design, and implementation of projects and processes within the Water Supply Networks.

Having held the positions of Head, Deputy Director, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager, he has led departments and divisions across the full spectrum of the Company’s technical activities.

From his position as Assistant General Manager of Network and Facilities Operations (from May 12, 2013, to June 10, 2014) and as General Manager of Network and Facilities Operations (from June 11, 2014, to September 30, 2016), he was involved in diverse, highly complex, and wide-ranging activities across the following departments: Water Intake, Water Treatment Plants, Water Supply Network, Sewerage Network, Treatment Centers, and the Operations & 1022 Control Center of EYDAP S.A.

Currently, in his capacity as General Manager of Water Supply—a position he has held since October 1, 2016—he oversees and coordinates the following departments: Water Intake, Water Treatment Plants, Water Supply Network, Water Supply Planning & Support Operations, and Water Supply Systems & Data, which are responsible for the maintenance and operation of the Attica External Water Supply System (reservoirs, dams, aqueducts, pumping stations, boreholes, etc.), the Water Treatment Plants, and the water supply facilities and networks,  water quality control, the design and development of new projects, as well as the collection of measurement data (meter readings, operational data from the water supply network, water pumping stations, etc.)  in the water supply sector throughout the area of responsibility of EYDAP S.A.

Since 1990, he has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and the Panhellenic Association of Civil Engineers (PSPME). 

He served as an elected member of the Technical Chamber of Greece’s Delegation from 2006 to 2009. 

From 2009 to 2011, he served as the TEE’s representative on the Technical Council of ETHEL.

He served as an elected member for 12 years on the Engineers’ Association of EYDAP S.A.   

From 1994 to 1998, he served as an elected District Councilor in the 2nd District of the Municipality of Athens.

 

 
Executive Director of Sewerage Network 

Konstantinos Vougiouklakis was born in Athens in September 1966 and graduated from the 5th High School of Kallithea. He studied at the National Technical University of Athens, in the Civil Engineering Department.

He has been working at EYDAP since 1993, where he has held various positions, including Head of the Second Regional Sewer Maintenance Division (1996–1997), Head of the Sewerage Network Preventive Maintenance Department (1997–2007), Deputy Director of the Sewerage Network & Head of the Sewerage Network Preventive Maintenance Department (2007–2009), Director of the Sewerage Network (2009–2013), Assistant General Manager of Network & Facility Operations (2013–2014) and General Manager of Project Development and Production (2014–2016), with responsibility for the Planning & Development Department, the Infrastructure Department, the Research and Development (R&D) Quality Department, the Real Estate & Energy Department, and the Local Government Relations Development Department.

Since October 2016, he has held the position of Executive Director of Sewerage Network in charge of the Sewerage Network Directorate, the Sewerage Planning & Support Operations Directorate and the Wastewater Treatment Plants Directorate. The Executive Division of Sewerage Network is responsible for the management and treatment of all wastewater in the area of competence of EYDAP.

 
Executive Director of Customer Services

Paraskevi (Paritsa) Niarchou is a mathematician and a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Analysis and Programming and project management. She holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree.

She began her professional career at EYDAP in 1988 in the Information Technology Department. Starting in 2001, she assumed positions of increased responsibility, initially as Head of the Computerization Service.

From 2004 to 2013, she served as Deputy Director of the Information Technology and Technology Department, where she gained significant experience in project management and oversight, as well as in managing organizational and technological changes. At the same time, she gained familiarity with all processes related to customer service.

In 2013, she was appointed Deputy Director of the Water Supply Network, further expanding her experience in the operation and management of critical infrastructure. As part of her duties, she actively participated in teams responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of new applications and projects.

In 2016, she moved to the General Customer Division as Director of Special Customer Service, and in 2022, she assumed the position of Director of Customer Service. In these roles, she managed complex and long-standing customer cases, network takeover processes, and major modernization initiatives, while playing a decisive role in addressing the challenges that arose during the pandemic.

Since April 2023, she has held the position of General Manager of Customer Relations at EYDAP, with the primary goal of continuously enhancing the customer experience, adapting the Company to modern service needs, and improving the quality of the services provided.

   

 
Executive Director of Human Resources 

Katerina Vlastari was born in Athens in 1960. She holds a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of Business Administration, and is a certified DPO (Data Protection Officer). She has achieved Cambridge Proficiency.

She currently serves as Executive Director of Human Resources at EYDAP S.A. From 2018 to 2021, she served as Data Protection Officer (DPO), assuming the responsibilities of this new institutional role. The first position of responsibility she held in her professional career at EYDAP S.A. was that of Head of the Payroll Department from 2004 to 2007. Subsequently, she served as Director of Training from 2007 to 2009, and as Assistant General Director of Human Resources from 2009 to 2010.

She worked in the private sector from 1979 to 1990. During the 1988–89 period, she worked at the fertilizer company SYNEL as Public Relations Manager. Previously, she had worked at the tourism company Athens Express SA as Director of the Reservations Department, and at the hotel companies Titania Hotel and Akti Messongis SA as Head of the Reservations Department. Previously, she held key positions at the following companies: UNICEF, the Australian Embassy, Compass Tour Hellas, and Hotel Atlantic.

Furthermore, her extensive experience has enabled her to serve today as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Water Council, contributing to more effective water management with the primary goal of improving citizens’ quality of life.



Director of Human Resources Activities

Maria Mazaraki has been working at EYDAP since 1990 and is currently Director of Human Resources Activities.
Since 2004 she has held positions of responsibility in the Company at all hierarchical levels. In particular, she has held the positions of Head, Deputy Director, Director and Assistant General Manager of Human Resources and Deputy Director of Customer Service. She has also served as Advisor to the CEO and Advisor to the General Director of Human Resources.
She holds a degree in Political Science and International Studies from Panteion University, an MSc in Public Sector Management with specialization in General Management and a Human Resources Development Certificate from the University of Athens.
She has a great volunteering activity and is a member of the Help Hellas Volunteer Academy and Vice President of the Environmental, Animal Welfare and Cultural Club of Maroussi. She is also a member of the Municipal Consultation Committee of the Municipality of Maroussi, the Union of Women Scientists of Greece and the Panathenian Panhellenic Union of Women.
 
Executive Director of Transformation  

Antigoni Synodinou was born in Athens. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) with a Master's degree in Business Administration and in Environmental Policy and Technology.

She worked in the private sector at a dynamic Greek industrial company in the chemicals sector, as well as at a major multinational consumer goods company. 

She has many years of experience at EYDAP where she has held positions of responsibility in the technical sector of water supply and sewerage.

In 2016, she was appointed as Assistant Executive Director of Water Supply; in 2019, Executive Director of Coordination and Supportive Operations; and from June 2021, sha has been serving as Executive Director of Transformation.

She speaks English and French.

 
Executive Director of Major Projects 

Georgia Stefanakou was born in Athens, graduated from the 2nd Arsakeio Lyceum of Psychiko and studied Civil Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

She completed her MSc in Sanitary Engineering at the Athens School of Public Health and MSc in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering at the University of South Florida, USA.  She speaks English and French.

She has been working at EYDAP since 1990, where she gained significant experience in the full range of the Company's technical operations, in the design, tendering, construction of water supply and wastewater networks, water and wastewater treatment plants, port projects, industrial and energy projects, operation and maintenance of major facilities, as well as in the management of EYDAP projects and facilities of all scales.

With uninterrupted experience in positions of responsibility since 2001, she has served as Head of Service of the Psyttalia Wastewater Treatment Plant (2001 - 2013) where she successfully managed the normalization of the disposal and utilization of the sludge produced, as well as the consolidation of the operation of all facilities of the most important environmental project in Greece and one of the largest in the world, while she was also appointed Deputy Director of Wastewater Treatment Plants (2011 - 2013) and then Director of Infrastructure (2013-2014). 

Since 2014, at the top level of the EYDAP management structure, she took the position of Assistant General Director of Networks and Facilities Operations (2014-2016) with responsibility for three technical directorates and the coordination of major actions to modernize and reduce the energy footprint of the operation of EYDAP's major facilities, external aqueducts and dams, Water Treatment Plants and Wastewater Treatment Plants.  Subsequently, from the position of Assistant General Manager of East Attica Projects (2016 - March 2021), under the responsibility of the East Attica Projects Directorate, she organized the multi-level strategic planning for the integrated wastewater management of the communities of East Attica, the cooperation with the Municipalities of East Attica and the implementation, with co-financing from European programs, of EYDAP's environmental wastewater treatment and sewerage projects in East Attica.

As of May 2021, she assumed the position of Executive Director of Major Projects with responsibility for the monitoring and coordination of six Directorates in charge of the planning, financing and implementation of the new major projects of EYDAP's investment plan, including sewerage, wastewater treatment and reuse of treated water from the Wastewater Treatment Plants in East Attica.

 
Executive Director of Finance & Supply Chain

Mr. Stamou has over 25 years of professional experience, mainly in senior management positions in Greece and abroad.

Before joining EYDAP S.A , in February 2026, as Chief Financial & Supply Chain Officer,  Mr. Stamou served as Chief Financial Officer and member of the executive committee from 2024 to 2025 at the Thessaloniki Port Authority S.A, as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Telekom Romania Mobile from 2022 to 2023, while from 2019 to 2022 he was Director of Accounting and Tax at Telekom Romania having a strategic and executive role in the sale process of Telekom Romania Fixed and Telekom Romania Mobile, substantially contributing to the sale of Fixed Telephony to the Orange Group.

He also held various senior positions at OTE Group, including Director of Corporate Controlling & Reporting of OTE Group from 2015-2019, Director of Corporate Finance and Controlling of Other Subsidiaries of OTE Group from 2014 to 2015, Deputy Director of Strategy, Planning and Financial Services, as well as, Deputy Director of MIS and Analysis.

Previously, he worked at OTENET as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis from 2007 to 2008, as a Budget and Financial Reporting Analyst at Tellas (Wind) Telecommunications from 2004 to 2006 and as a Financial Analyst at DELTA Dairy  S.A from 2001 to 2004.

Mr. Stamou holds a degree in Statistics from the Athens University of Economics and Business and an MSc Finance from the University of Leicester in UK.

 

 

 

 

Director of Finance Activities

Eleni Spyropoulou has been employed at EYDAP S.A. since February 16, 2000. She has served as Director of Financial Operations since April 2021. From October 2016 to March 2021, she served as Assistant General Director of Finance, and from May 2013 to September 2016, she served as Director of Financial Services. In May 2008, she assumed the duties of Head of the Central Accounting Office. From October 1994 until her hiring at EYDAP, she worked in the Finance Department at KIKIZAS S.A. “MELISSA.”

She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business in 1994 and her master’s degree in Finance and Banking in 2000, also from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Ms. Spyropoulou holds a Class A Accountant license from the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2001), received certification from the “IFRS Learning & Assessment Program” by ICAEW in 2016, obtained certification for completing the Program Diploma in IFR (DiplIFR)/ACCA in 2017, as well as certification for successfully completing the Boardroom’s board education program with distinction, which she attended in 2025. He has participated in working groups for the design and operation of new applications at EYDAP S.A.

 

 

Director of Supply Chain Activities

 

Konstantina Stavroulia is the Director of Supply Chain Activities of EYDAP since 2021, responsible for the assessment, optimal planning, execution, monitoring and control of the Company's supply chain activities.
She studied Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and holds an M.Sc. degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.


She has served for 3 years as Head of the Sector of Papagos Sewerage, responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of the sewerage network of the Sector (North & Northeastern Suburbs of Attica) and Technical Consultant for Sewerage Project Management of EYDAP NISSON SA, responsible for the survey of existing wastewater treatment facilities and sewerage networks in more than 18 Greek islands, as well as Water Supply Director, for 7 years, responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of the water supply network of Attica.


She has also worked for more than 15 years either as a consultant - associate, or as head of engineering teams and departments in large technical companies and consulting firms, as well as a contractor, with the task of preparing studies and supervision of numerous important construction projects in Greece and abroad, mostly related to hydraulic projects (water supply - sewerage) and environmental ones.

 
Executive Director of Digital Governance 

Eftychia-Myrta Nestoridis is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology -M.I.T. (BSCE '83) and Northeastern University (MSCE '85).

She worked in the USA for 3 years and joined EYDAP in 1988 where she started her career in water supply project design.

In the years that followed she held managerial positions in the areas of water & wastewater infrastructure planning & development and operational analysis, energy.

In 2016 she took over as General Director of Coordination and Support Operations with areas of responsibility in environment, energy, buildings infrastructure, design & project tenders and IT.

From 2019 to 2021, she served as Management Consultant with main area of responsibility supporting the Administration in the negotiations with the Greek State for the new 20-year concession contract for the exclusive right to provide water supply & sewerage services in Attica.

As of June 2021, she holds the position of General Director of Digital Governance, aiming at the modernization and digital transformation of EYDAP.
