EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Sachinis is the Chief Executive Officer of EYDAP, the largest water and wastewater company in Greece.
He previously held the position of Business Development Officer at Aegean Airlines.He has been involved in private equity as a Partner at Global Finance, as an Operating Partner at Advent International and independently.Earlier he was the Chairman and CEO of DEPA Group, where he significantly improved profitability, negotiated and completed major supply contracts worth $20 billion and contributed in the shaping of alternative gas supply routes to Europe.He has also served as President of the McGraw-Hill Companies’ Business Information Group, which he made into one of the top global business-to-business information companies, specializing in the energy, construction, aviation, aerospace and defense industries.
Prior to this, he was President of Platts, which he built into the world’s largest energy and commodities price and information provider, and at the same time he actively promoted transparency and integrity in the global energy markets.He was also Group Vice President of Standard & Poor’s, where he grew key strategic businesses in the financial information sector.He has served as Vice President of ATHEXClear and is now a Member of the Boards of Directors of ENEXClear, of the Atlantic Council and οf the Investment Committee of CNL Capital.
He holds an engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Executive Director of Water Supply
Giorgos Karagiannis is a graduate in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace.
He is married and father of two (2) children.
He joined EYDAP in 1990.
As a Civil Engineer he has designed and constructed a significant number of civil engineering projects as a member of the Building Facilities Directorate of EYDAP. For many years he was involved in the organization, planning and implementation of projects and procedures in Water Supply Networks.
At the same time, from 1990 to 2014, he was involved in the design and construction of many building projects - (residential buildings - offices and so on) with emphasis on bioclimatic buildings and the introduction of renewable energy sources in them, as well as the design and construction of Renewable Energy Sources (Photovoltaics).
Holding the position of Supervisor, Deputy Director, Assistant Executive Director and Executive Director, he has led Services and Directorates across the full range of the Company's technical activities.
From the position of Assistant Executive Director of Networks and Facilities Operations (2013 - 2014) and Executive Director of Networks and Facilities Operations (2014 - 2016), he had a diverse and highly complex and wide-ranging activity in the Water Supply Directorate, the Water Treatment Plant Directorate, the Water Supply Network Directorate, the Sewerage Network Directorate, the Treatment Plants Directorate as well as the Operations Center & 1022 of EYDAP.
Today, from the position of Executive Director of Water Supply, which he has held since 01.10. 2016, he supervises and coordinates the Water Supply Directorate, the Water Treatment Directorate, the Water Supply Network, Planning & Water Support Operations Directorate and the Water Supply Systems & Data Directorate, which are responsible for the water supply sources (dams, boreholes), external aqueducts, Water Treatment Plants, water supply networks, water quality control, planning and development of new projects in the water sector throughout the area of EYDAP's competence, as well as the collection of metering data in the water sector (metering, water network operational data, water pumping stations, etc.).
Since 1990 he is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (T.E.E.) and the Panhellenic Association of Civil Engineers (P.S.P.M.E.).
He was an elected member of the Delegation of the Technical Chamber of Greece from 2006 to 2009.
Executive Director of Sewerage Network
Konstantinos Vougiouklakis was born in Athens in September 1966 and graduated from the 5th High School of Kallithea. He studied at the National Technical University of Athens, in the Civil Engineering Department.
He has been working at EYDAP since 1993, where he has held various positions, including Supervisor of the 2nd Regional Maintenance Sector (1996-1997), Supervisor of the Sewerage Network Preventive Maintenance Service (1997-2007), Sewerage Network Director (2009-2013), Assistant Executive Director for Network & Facilities Operations (2013-2014) and Executive Director for Project Development and Production (2014-2016) having been responsible for the Planning & Development Directorate, the Infrastructure Directorate, the Research and Development (R&D) Quality Directorate, the Buildings & Energy Directorate and the Directorate for Development of Relationships with Local Authorities.
Since October 2016, he has held the position of Executive Director of Sewerage Network in charge of the Sewerage Network Directorate, the Sewerage Planning & Support Operations Directorate and the Wastewater Treatment Plants Directorate. The Executive Division of Sewerage Network is responsible for the management and treatment of all wastewater in the area of competence of EYDAP.
Executive Director of Customer Services
Paraskevi (Paritsa) Niarou studied Mathematics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and specialised in Analysis-Programming and project monitoring. She holds a Master's degree (MPA) in Public Administration.
She started working at EYDAP in 1988, in the Information Technology Division, and since 2001 she has held positions of responsibility, starting as Head of the IT Department, and continuing in the years 2004-2013, as Deputy Director in the IT and Technology Division, where she gained vast experience in project monitoring - management and transition management. At the same time she came in contact with all the operations related to customer service.
This knowledge was further enriched by her appointment in 2013 as Deputy Water Supply Network Director. During these years she has worked on many teams designing, monitoring and operating new applications.
In 2016, she transitioned to the Executive Directorate of Customer Service as the Director of Special Customer Service and in 2022 she was promoted to Director of Customer Service. From these positions she managed long-standing difficult customer cases, network takeovers and modernization changes, while managing the problems that arose during the pandemic crisis.
From April 2023, she took up the position of Customer Service Executive Director with the aim of adapting to modern customer needs and providing the appropriate service.
Executive Director of Human Resources
Katerina Vlastari was born in 1960 in Athens. She is a graduate of the Higher School of Industry, Department of Business Administration and an accredited DPO (Data Protection Officer). She holds a Cambridge Proficiency qualification.
She currently holds the position of Executive Director of Human Resources at EYDAP. During the period 2018 to 2021 she was a Data Protection Officer (DPO) taking on a new institutional role. Her first position of responsibility in her professional career at EYDAP was that of Head of Payroll (2004-2007). Subsequently, she was Director of Training (2007-2009) and Assistant General Director of Human Resources (2009-2010).
In the private sector, she worked in 1988-89 for SYNEL Fertilizer Company as a Public Relations Officer. Earlier she worked in the tourism company Athens Express SA as Director of the Reservations Department, in the hotel companies Titania Hotel and Akti Messoggis S.A. as Head of the Reservations Department. Previously, she worked in key positions at Unicef, Australian Embassy, Compass Tour Hellas, Hotel Atlantic.
Finally, her many years of experience have enabled her to be a member of the Board of Directors of the National Water Council, contributing to more effective water management aiming at improving the quality of life of citizens.
Director of Human Resources Activities
Maria Mazaraki has been working at EYDAP since 1990 and is currently Director of Human Resources Activities.
Since 2004 she has held positions of responsibility in the Company at all hierarchical levels. In particular, she has held the positions of Head, Deputy Director, Director and Assistant General Manager of Human Resources and Deputy Director of Customer Service. She has also served as Advisor to the CEO and Advisor to the General Director of Human Resources.
She holds a degree in Political Science and International Studies from Panteion University, an MSc in Public Sector Management with specialization in General Management and a Human Resources Development Certificate from the University of Athens.
She has a great volunteering activity and is a member of the Help Hellas Volunteer Academy and Vice President of the Environmental, Animal Welfare and Cultural Club of Maroussi. She is also a member of the Municipal Consultation Committee of the Municipality of Maroussi, the Union of Women Scientists of Greece and the Panathenian Panhellenic Union of Women.
Executive Director of Transformation
Antigoni Synodinou was born in Athens. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering with a Master's degree in Business Administration.
She started her career in a dynamic Greek industrial company of the chemical sector in marketing, as a product team leader. She then moved to one of the leading multinational consumer goods companies, where she held positions of responsibility in production planning and logistics.
She has many years of work experience at EYDAP where she has held positions of responsibility since 2003. In particular, she has served as Head of the Internal Prevention and Protection Service (IPPS), Head of the Industrial Waste and Wastewater Service, Head and Operations Manager at the Polydendri and Menidi Water Treatment Plants, Director of the Water Treatment Plants and since 2016 Assistant General Director of Water Supply.
In April 2019, she took over the Executive Division of Coordination and Support Operations and from June 2021, the Executive Division of Transformation.
She speaks English and French.
Executive Director of Major Projects
Georgia Stefanakou was born in Athens, graduated from the 2nd Arsakeio Lyceum of Psychiko and studied Civil Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
She completed her MSc in Sanitary Engineering at the Athens School of Public Health and MSc in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering at the University of South Florida, USA. She speaks English and French.
She has been working at EYDAP since 1990, where she gained significant experience in the full range of the Company's technical operations, in the design, tendering, construction of water supply and wastewater networks, water and wastewater treatment plants, port projects, industrial and energy projects, operation and maintenance of major facilities, as well as in the management of EYDAP projects and facilities of all scales.
With uninterrupted experience in positions of responsibility since 2001, she has served as Head of Service of the Psyttalia Wastewater Treatment Plant (2001 - 2013) where she successfully managed the normalization of the disposal and utilization of the sludge produced, as well as the consolidation of the operation of all facilities of the most important environmental project in Greece and one of the largest in the world, while she was also appointed Deputy Director of Wastewater Treatment Plants (2011 - 2013) and then Director of Infrastructure (2013-2014).
Since 2014, at the top level of the EYDAP management structure, she took the position of Assistant General Director of Networks and Facilities Operations (2014-2016) with responsibility for three technical directorates and the coordination of major actions to modernize and reduce the energy footprint of the operation of EYDAP's major facilities, external aqueducts and dams, Water Treatment Plants and Wastewater Treatment Plants. Subsequently, from the position of Assistant General Manager of East Attica Projects (2016 - March 2021), under the responsibility of the East Attica Projects Directorate, she organized the multi-level strategic planning for the integrated wastewater management of the communities of East Attica, the cooperation with the Municipalities of East Attica and the implementation, with co-financing from European programs, of EYDAP's environmental wastewater treatment and sewerage projects in East Attica.
As of May 2021, she assumed the position of Executive Director of Major Projects with responsibility for the monitoring and coordination of six Directorates in charge of the planning, financing and implementation of the new major projects of EYDAP's investment plan, including sewerage, wastewater treatment and reuse of treated water from the Wastewater Treatment Plants in East Attica.
Finance & Supply Chain General Manager
Director of Finance Activities
Eleni Spyropoulou has been working in EYDAP since 16.02.2000.
She is the Director of Finance Activities since April 2021.
From October 2016 to March 2021 she was Assistant Director General of Finance and from May 2013 to September 2016 she was Director of Finance.
Since May 2008, she served as Head of Central Accounting.
From October 1994 until her recruitment to EYDAP, she worked at KIKIZAS S.A. "MELISSA" in the Finance Department.
She received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics in 1994 and a Master's degree in Finance and Banking in 2000, also from the Athens University or Economics.
She holds a Class A Accountant's license from the Athens Chamber of Commerce (2001), has received certification "IFRS Learning &Assessment programme" by ICAEW in 2016 and obtained a certificate of attendance of the Program Diploma in IFR (DiplIFR)/ACCA in 2017.
She has participated in working groups for the design and operation of new applications at EYDAP.
Director of Supply Chain Activities
Konstantina Stavroulia is the Director of Supply Chain Activities of EYDAP since 2021, responsible for the assessment, optimal planning, execution, monitoring and control of the Company's supply chain activities.
She studied Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and holds an M.Sc. degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She has served for 3 years as Head of the Sector of Papagos Sewerage, responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of the sewerage network of the Sector (North & Northeastern Suburbs of Attica) and Technical Consultant for Sewerage Project Management of EYDAP NISSON SA, responsible for the survey of existing wastewater treatment facilities and sewerage networks in more than 18 Greek islands, as well as Water Supply Director, for 7 years, responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of the water supply network of Attica.
She has also worked for more than 15 years either as a consultant - associate, or as head of engineering teams and departments in large technical companies and consulting firms, as well as a contractor, with the task of preparing studies and supervision of numerous important construction projects in Greece and abroad, mostly related to hydraulic projects (water supply - sewerage) and environmental ones.
Executive Director of Digital Governance
Eftychia-Myrta Nestoridis is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology -M.I.T. (BSCE '83) and Northeastern University (MSCE '85).
She worked in the USA for 3 years and joined EYDAP in 1988 where she started her career in water supply project design.
In the years that followed she held managerial positions in the areas of water & wastewater infrastructure planning & development and operational analysis, energy.
In 2016 she took over as General Director of Coordination and Support Operations with areas of responsibility in environment, energy, buildings infrastructure, design & project tenders and IT.
From 2019 to 2021, she served as Management Consultant with main area of responsibility supporting the Administration in the negotiations with the Greek State for the new 20-year concession contract for the exclusive right to provide water supply & sewerage services in Attica.
As of June 2021, she holds the position of General Director of Digital Governance, aiming at the modernization and digital transformation of EYDAP.
