KEREFYT

EYDAP has a Research and Development Center (KEREFYT) in Metamorfosi, Attica, where:

• Pilot innovative applications are tested, such as the Reuse Water Production Unit that operates with the innovative Sewer Mining (SM) technology for the first time in Greece

• Further studies, sample and data analysis, laboratory and office research are carried out

• Research projects are developed to improve the existing services of EYDAP (such as wastewater management)

The Center hosts The Research and Development Department (R&D), established in early 2011, that consists of EYDAP’s highly competent scientists who focus on the development and dissemination of knowhow and innovation, as well as the adoption of an extrovert orientation.

In the area of Research and Development, EYDAP promotes actions for:

·         Implementation of European and National research projects that cover the existing and future scientific needs of the company.

·         Development and demonstration of innovative plans and state-of-the-art technologies in the research center’s premises.

·         Improvement of the quality of services provided to citizens and businesses through the use of new technologies and the provision of specialized services.

·         Linking research to entrepreneurship, in collaboration with research staff from Greek and international universities, Research Centers and private companies.

Development of competitive know-how and diffusion of innovation in order to promote the social and economic development of the country.
