EYDAP ensures the quality of the wastewater entering the sewerage network in order to ensure the proper functioning of the network and the efficient treatment of wastewater. For this purpose, the Industrial Waste and Wastewater Quality Control Service was established. Its main task is the planning, development and implementation of methods to control the discharge of industrial wastewater into the sewerage network under the responsibility of EYDAP. In addition, it is responsible for carrying out inspections and spot checks on companies discharging into the sewage network in order to ascertain their compliance with the relevant legislation. The laboratories of the Wastewater Laboratory Analysis Service have been certified by the National Accreditation System ESYD (862-8/3/2013 Accreditation Certificate) as being able, in accordance with the requirements of ISO17025, to carry out chemical tests for wastewater and industrial waste and microbiological tests for treated wastewater. The objective of the Service is to highlight and recognize the ability of its laboratories to carry out highly accurate and reliable laboratory testing in their area of competence.
EYDAP's Management is committed to providing all necessary resources and means to implement the Quality Policy and the Quality Management System of the laboratories.
The application for sewerage certificates and permits together with the required supporting documents shall be submitted to:

After the processing of the application and the completion of the inspection, a report is issued and the customer is informed about the outcome of the application.
